Rolling straight off the back of another successful 'Vatos Locos' Off Week event at City Hall, Barcelona and following his 'Jacuzzi Killer' EP, Hector is now ready to unleash the third installment from his new label 'VL Recordings'. 'Fusion' is a collaboration from core Vatos Locos member David Gtronic, and flourishing Romanian up-and-comer IULY.B.
The 'Fusion' EP is a product of David and IULY.B combining their musical forces to create five unstoppable tracks, satisfactory for any deep dance floor moment, bringing a beautifully subtle tempo to the groove.
Colombian David Gtronic is one of the most exciting talents on the underground circuit and is currently smashing dance floors all over Europe and beyond. Outside of VL Recordings he has worked with: Suara, Monique Musique, Kina Music, Serkal, Oblack and Moan Recordings, as well as collaborations with Livio & Roby, Santos and his most recent with Leon. He's a founder member of Hector's Vatos Locos camp, and a must see selector.
Romanian talent IULY.B has been making his mark on the music scene since Butch spotted him back in 2013. This saw him release his first vinyl at 'Bouq Records', which found itself in the hands and sets of Ricardo Villalobos. From there he continued a stellar run of releases on imprints such as: Claque Musique, Memoria Recordings, and Savor Music. His 'Astronomic' Franco Cinelli was also included on 'Cocoon Ibiza 2014' compilation Mixed by Mathias Kaden & Popof. Now, Hector gives him the chance to put a stamp on 'VL Recordings'.
Since its launch at The BPM festival at the beginning of the year, Hector's VL Recordings imprint has be making it's mark as a fresh breeding ground for some of the finest talent the underground has to offer.
To finish off the year as strong as they started, Hector called upon one of London's finest selectors Seb Zito to host the fourth release of 2016, with his four-track 'My Sound' EP
Seb Zito is best known for his efforts as a core member of one of London's most treasured event series, Fuse London, where he also acts as the label offshoots main A&R.
2016 stepped right up for Seb and saw him make an impact on Kerri Chandler's Kaoz Theory, where he recently put his stamp on two of the labels releases.
One for the man himself on 'Turn Off The Lights (Who's afraid of the Dark) , and the other for Jamie Jones's debut effort on Kaoz Theroy on 'Old Skool Acid'.
For his contribution to VL Recordings Seb Zito has created five tracks that that ring true to the trademark sound of his London roots, dating back to the days he cut his teeth on the early garage rave scene in the capital.
‘My Sound' does exactly what is says in the title and brings that punchy taste of London swagger to VL Recordings.
