FilosofischeStilte ‎– Munch Palace Vol.2

Regular price £7.07 (£8.48 Inc VAT)

*FilosofischeStilte* returns with the second instalment of Munch Palace. Volume 2 contains some intense freaky stuff.

Along with volume 1 these releases are a sound and clear reflection of FilosofischeStilte's evolution into a mastermind who has sharpened his sword's cutting edge.

The intro to the first song *Lost* teases you until the heavy kicks drop in to cause an eargasm into the eerie feeling ending. Straight into *March pt. 2* which takes that feeling of which Lost left you with into a dream-like state with a liquid type of flow.

*Gwoup* forms the crossroad between trap and footwork. The drive is reminiscent of early 90's rave music without sounding nostalgic. Gwoup certainly is the point where the EP changes into a different direction.

*People Are Acting Like* is a crazy post-trap apocalyptic screamer. Which could easily drive a dancefloor of shoulder thrusting trap heads into excitement.

The EP is then followed by two amazing remixes. One by the very talented Dutch producer *Sam A La Bamalot* who never seizes to amaze. On his remix of Lost he added a hypnotizing vocal and an emotional mood swing. Guaranteed to keep your head nodding! Skweee producer *V.C.* delivers a dance minded smoothie. This smooth sailing edition of Note could easily be the soundtrack to a new edition of the 80´s arcade hit video game Outrun.

With this EP FilosofischeStilte once again showcases his versatility. As far as we´re concerned Luuk has paved his way into the future. Leaving us hungry for more.

FilosofischeStilte (literally translated PhilosophicalSilence) also known as Luuk Graham was nicknamed the Philosopher by his parents. “I used to ask a lot of questions which had no answers.” Luuk recalls. “The Silence part comes from the fact that I am a man of few words.”
