Released 31st March 2017
Ltd Transparent 12" Vinyl. The acclaimed Wreck Fader album by Kypski saw it’s vinyl release about 2 years ago. Since then Kypski has been working on quite a few things. Amongst these projects is his amazing online remix project. As part of this, Kypski took the hit Love Sick from Mura Masa to another level. His remix of Dutch smash hit Drank & Drugs by Lil Kleine & Ronnie Flex also caught the attention of a lot of people which resulted in thousands of views and shares on Facebook and Youtube. Due to the succes of Kypski's remix project we thought it was an excellent idea to remix Wreck Fader and that's why we asked a diverse range of Dutch producers to wreck the tracks of Kypski's album. The remix album follows the intensity of the original in an extraordinary way. The remix artists had the opportunity to pick tracks which fit their own style best. Ultimately all remixers took Wreck Fader into another dimension. Julien Mier chose Armitage Skank and made it sound so easy yet complex at the same time. The deep vibes by SparkUp x Taro take Clockworx into the bass zone. Skip & Die did what they do best: make it even more pushy, electro rave madness. Colin Benders turns it into a modular proto tool. The deconstructing of Mixology by Roel Funcken goes completely into a wobbly crispy spatial twirl. The always returning amen gets exposed in the FFF remix like it’s a dream from 1994. De Likt made Trambalero sound like it's one of their own original tracks with punky, in your face vocals on ruff direct beats. Deformer dares to battle the D-Styles work-out: Mad like hell and mutating it to a rave punch.

Released 17th February 2017
Ltd Violet Coloured Vinyl. Exploring the tactility of bass from both the hip-hop and the DnB side you’ll end up in a swirling lava stream with punchy basslines and tattered lost frail voices. Judo is the perfect example of this hip-hop and Drum & Bass fusion. As this track also showcases Lewis James' skill to combine theses unusual genres. Like sirens the voice snatches are seductive and suck you into the Megacholy. The gritty metal scrapes pierce the senses and the rousing synths are dripped with dystopian post apocalyptic Gotham. We love the world in alleys and post-industrial decay. With sparks of hope as in the alluring track Spiller.
Megacholy is a true Dazzle release. It has no limits, it’s deep and imaginative. It combines breakbeat science with DnB precision, industrial grits and hip hop punch. Truly diverse and seductive.
Lewis James has already an interesting track record. As a multi-instrumentalist, and a producer he is known for his diversity. He has a Lowriders kinda taste for bass culture, hip hop, soul and electronics. Worked for TV, film, and the game industry. Collaborated with Lorn, Om Unit, Dolor and just recently with Amsterdam based producer Sleepin Giant on the Disco Noir release for the Cosmonostro label and with Know V.A. for our Beatitude 2 track.
Dazzle Series: For our Dazzle series this idea of confusion and delusion is combined with how we select the music: Confusing the listeners with preoccupation of style and genre and then turning the whole thing around, upside-down, playing with expectation. It’s about the tension between the compelling sound colors from Bass music, noise combined with whirring machinery to glossy rave synths and or RnB mash ups. In other words: using Gotham’s sonic textures and crafts them into brand new, glistening disrupting collages. With Lowriders we’re about those spaces in- between genres.

Despite his lack of releases his tunes have been making the rounds among the elite in Grime. With his sound JLSXND7RS has succeeded in catching an authentic raw and gritty vibe most Grime fans adore. In 2014 he released The Undertaker. This collaboration EP with Trends and Flirta D quickly gained the number one spot on the Juno Download chart and also sparked the interest of Spooky Bizzle and the godfather of Grime, DJ Slimzee. This interest resulted in being affiliated with Slimzos Recordings which will lead to a release on the label in the near future. His beats also became favored by MCs as they are played frequently on Rinse FM, Radar Radio and BBC 1xtra. JLSXND7RS his soundcloud profile is filled with radio rips with MCs such as Capo Lee, Nico Lindsay, Kwam, Rocks FOE, Skepta, Jammer and Wiley spraying their bars over his beats. Needless to say JLSXND7RS isn’t a rookie when it comes to Grime. Recently he released his co-produced EP The Undertaker Remixes on Reloadz and the Red State EP on DJ Spooky Bizzle's Ghost House Records. JLSXND7RS also has quite some production credits coming up for MCs like Wiley, Killa P and Hitman Hyper. JLSXND7RS is a purist when it comes to grime. Even though his approach is much more melodic and yet never fails to screw up your face. On S.N.M you'll hear a perfect example of his dark side.

Marsman started making hiphop beats in 2005. Pretty soon he found that making solely hiphop beats was a limitation he had to get rid of and that’s when the basis of Marsman’s music was born: No genres. He developed a foundation in experimentation and started exploring new niches – without going into a genre too deep to remain unique and to keep surprising himself with sounds and rhythms he had never heard before. That is the second rule in Marsman’s music: He makes music for himself – as an expression of the (sub)conscious. In all his 15+ previous, mostly self-released, EP’s you can clearly hear the development of his mindstate often going through feels of manic, chaotic and restless auditive experiments. Marsman has also been lucky enough to explore this experimental stage of composing and producing music by attending Utrecht’s School of Music & Technology for some years. Though, this stage of experimentation will, in some way, never end. There is no end goal and there is only development to be unfolded.
New Kind of Purple only just recently Marsman concluded that his main goal in music is to communicate his mind-states through the meditative powers of frequencies. He chose to take the time to be more conscious about what the music will communicate, instead of communicating his tracks that only rising from the subconscious.
The album has a lot more depth , tranquillity and imagination to it when compared with his earlier work.
The first effects of this insight are represented in this 45 minute long trip through memories, possibilities and personal realities. There’s no definition of what it ís about – it just is, like most things in life, completely open for interpretation.

*FilosofischeStilte* returns with the second instalment of Munch Palace. Volume 2 contains some intense freaky stuff.
Along with volume 1 these releases are a sound and clear reflection of FilosofischeStilte's evolution into a mastermind who has sharpened his sword's cutting edge.
The intro to the first song *Lost* teases you until the heavy kicks drop in to cause an eargasm into the eerie feeling ending. Straight into *March pt. 2* which takes that feeling of which Lost left you with into a dream-like state with a liquid type of flow.
*Gwoup* forms the crossroad between trap and footwork. The drive is reminiscent of early 90's rave music without sounding nostalgic. Gwoup certainly is the point where the EP changes into a different direction.
*People Are Acting Like* is a crazy post-trap apocalyptic screamer. Which could easily drive a dancefloor of shoulder thrusting trap heads into excitement.
The EP is then followed by two amazing remixes. One by the very talented Dutch producer *Sam A La Bamalot* who never seizes to amaze. On his remix of Lost he added a hypnotizing vocal and an emotional mood swing. Guaranteed to keep your head nodding! Skweee producer *V.C.* delivers a dance minded smoothie. This smooth sailing edition of Note could easily be the soundtrack to a new edition of the 80´s arcade hit video game Outrun.
With this EP FilosofischeStilte once again showcases his versatility. As far as we´re concerned Luuk has paved his way into the future. Leaving us hungry for more.
FilosofischeStilte (literally translated PhilosophicalSilence) also known as Luuk Graham was nicknamed the Philosopher by his parents. “I used to ask a lot of questions which had no answers.” Luuk recalls. “The Silence part comes from the fact that I am a man of few words.”
Supported by Flying Lotus (BBC radio show) DJ Shadow, Daedelus, Kutmah, HudMo, Toddla T, Stagga, Dj Irk, Pixelord to name just a few.

FilosofischeStilte sound can be best described as retro-futuristic synth-science 8-bit style combined with arpeggiated riffs. The FilosofischeStilte sound is an unique take on instrumental experimental West coast Beats.
During the course of last year FilosofischeStilte has played all over Europe. He has been listed at some high profile festivals like Down the Rabit Hole, Pitch and Rewire. At these festivals he shared the stage with artists like Le1f, Flume, Quadron, Kaytranada, Cyril Hahn and many more.
FilosofischeStilte - Munch Palace Vol. 1 (& 2)
After releasing his Home Grown EP for Saturate he returns to Lowriders for 2 EPs divided in 2 independent releases collectable in 1 sleeve.
For his latest releases on Lowriders he has increased the richness of his sound but kept the space he is well known for in his sound.
Munch Palace: The Story
Munch Palace is the name of a night shop which was around the corner of Luuk’s home. “It’s a very convenient store with overpriced supermarket products, but mainly not very nutritious products. And I don’t get why the shop had fluorescent lighting.”
The night shop became a part of the inspiration for this EP. “It was the place I went to get some crisps, candy, beer or anything that gave me the feeling I was at least enjoying my leisure time. I wanted to detach myself from the group of homies who all were to much interested in doing huge amounts of drugs and parties.”
Even though Luuk gets that this behaviour is inherent to his generation but at the same time he just felt out of place being around them. “I was just sitting there while they were telling stories about the huge heap of coke on a table somewhere or the 100,000 pills they took. It was so absurd that I could only laugh it away while I didn’t feel awkward being around them at the same time. They are good people but I just wasn’t on that same level.”
To get rid of his frustration FilosofischeStilte decided to put that energy into his music. The tracks you hear on Munch Palace are all born from that frustration which at the same renewed Luuk’s focus to expose and evolve his fresh and unique sound.
Munch Palace Vol.1 is part of a series split in two vinyl releases and a digi EP.
Vol.1 is 3 original tracks combined with on the flip 2 amazing remixes by LA producer Co.fee and Rotterdam based producer Dagger DX. Both take the work from Luuk to another level: Banger to the max.

This is Lowriders Recordings next move in the in between styles idea.
Wreck Fader is turntablism taken to the next level, combined with composing, electronics, beats, break beat science.
October 16th Wreck Fader, the debut album of Kypski will be presented to the world at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) at the Melkweg in Amsterdam.
“Wreck Fader represents the best of me, as a beatmaker, producer and scratcher.” tells Thomas Elbers also known as Kypski. He is a native Utrecht artist who has worked alongside C-mon as one half of Dutch Hip Hop act C-mon & Kypski.

The diversity of the beats and bass scene is reflected in the Rotterdam based label Lowriders Recordings. The new release by Know V.A. is a perfect example of the ever shifting and developing scene. Know V.A. and their mixture of styles is an obvious concurrence.
The first release on LOW by Know V.A. is called "O horizon" and is filled with blunt drum-programming like it was 1994 completed with threatening tone contrasted with field recordings and all this together into a gritty dancefloor set.
The name "O horizon", is also known as the forest floor, which is the lowest layer of a rainforest. The "O" stands for organic matter and is a place of spontaneous growth and continuous decay. The constant struggle for sunlight resembles the dynamics of the EP.
Know V.A. are listed by Djbroadcast as Dutch producers to watch for 2014. Their recent 'Slowjamz' release (and remix ep) got favored by artists like Plastician, Darkhouse Family and DJ Shadow. They are resident dj's for HOAX in Amsterdam and shared stage with big names in the scene.
The choices for the remixes really add power to the release. Dj Earl & Dj Taye takes the drum sounds and the melody to another consciousness. American grime producer Rabit takes the floor filler Donkey Kong apart and creates a spooky masculine abstraction.

Released 8th April 2016
12" Vinyl (transparent frosted) limited to 250
The release implies a dark and gritty experience, but excluding any aggressiveness.
Know V.A. - For the last years the two Amsterdam based producers have solidified their position in the Dutch scene. The two host a cutting edge experimental party in Amsterdam called HOAX. They've been invited to support the Warp & Lucky Me showcases two years in a row during ADE as well as the R&S label nights. In their monthly radio show at Red Light Radio they showcase their latest discoveries. The name Know V.A. can be seen as a call for people to keep looking for new angles in music. Trying not to be confined and limited by genres. Something that is retraceable in the development of their productions.
Influenced by the Los Angeles beats scene as well as the ever changing UK sound.
Their own music can be described as spacious, with strong percussive details constantly contrasting the sluggish low-end
Clusters - Producer duo Know V.A. returns to Lowriders Recordings for their second release Clusters. Since their first EP O Horizon the guys have been growing in their production to a more mature and daring sound.
Kicking off the new Dazzle vinyl only series, the duo set out to create tracks that would fit the exclusivity of a limited printed vinyl.
After several studio sessions in November 2015 the producer duo presents Clusters. Determined to push their own boundaries musically, they used a different approach in comparison to their prior releases. The three tracks originated from a sample/synth pack, specially designed for this EP. The Clusters EP should be seen as one track, solely divided by the track names. The release implies a dark and gritty experience, but excluding any aggressiveness.
Clusters EP already got some early support from Mssngno, Ryan Hemsworth, Mumdance, Ivy Lab, DJ Shadow, Noisia, Om Unit, Desto and others.
This release contains dancefloor orientated bass music.
- Caves: A dark hollow track clouded by its own reverb and delay. The thunderous kicks and lightning infused snares give Caves an electric feel to energize the dancefloor.
- Echoes: Is the echo of Caves. The track is stripped from its dynamics. Leaving behind the bare bones on which the synths are put to a new use. Taking the listener into a wormhole filled with bass and eerie sounding synths.
- Clusters: All the previously mentioned elements are put together in the title-track Clusters. Creating an entire new entity. For those who like to diversify their sets with half-tempo rhythms filled with a lot of bass and hypnotising melodies, Clusters is the absolute winner.
