Released 27th October 2017
For Kontra-Musik White Label's 10th release we give you none other than Nuel. The Italian producer is closely connected to the Aquaplano label run by Donato Dozzy - a natural source of collaboration as they speak the same language, not least in the musical sense. Nuel has perfected this dreamlike and seductive speech and it was irresistible for Kontra-Musik. On the surface Nuel's tracks might seem abstract and mathematical, but there's really an abundance of movement and groove in his music. Mechanical yet sensual, there's subtle erotic current running through the whole release: It's like a Marvin Gaye record for robots that just want to get it on.

Porn Sword Tobacco and SVN return to Kontra-Musik for another untouchable release far off the beaten techno track.
Trying anxiously to get with whatever is fashionable right now has never been Kontra-Musik's way of doing things, and the same goes for Porn Sword Tobacco and SVN. That's why we're such a good match.
The A-side consists of an eleven minutes scuba dive into the deep. The water is warm and pleasant and bright colored fishes in all shapes and sizes are swimming all around you, creating an abundance of shimmering bubbles. You'll be amazed by all the micro-rhythms and deep basses down here, but as you descend further down the scenery changes: The water gets cooler and more acidic and the sea life stranger and less gaudy. But there are still glitchy rhythms and bubbly basses everywhere in the dark, so keep going.
As you touch down on bottom of the sea, you'll hit the B-side. You'll need both your feet down here, because here comes the kick drum and it's in good company. The beat shares it's trembling minimal core with Plastikman's Snark, but there's more pace and concentrated driving force - a force that's getting even stronger as the record enters it's last chapter, almost causing a sea floor rift.
Joey Anderson, Markus Suckut & Wa Wu We remixes! The Dance Remixed 1 features an amazing Joey Anderson track that sounds like Vangelis on a jackin' acid trip, as well as a sinister Markus Suckut remix that brings his own no-nonsense techno label SCKT to mind, but still manages to retain the entrancing qualities of the original track. You'll also find two exquisitely stripped back versions from Wa Wu We, focusing on the bare necessities without losing an inch of the musicality and magnetism of the original tracks. the remixes part 2 features Efdemin, Voices From the Lake, Ulwhednar & Wa Wu We.
