One Records continue to celebrate an illustrious 10 years of operation with a 3-part compilation featuring both auspicious and established friends that label head Subb-an has gathered across his career. Parts 1 and 2 featured the likes of Matthew Jonson, Adam Pits, Urulu ( Liquid Earth ) and more.
The final instalment of the 10 year comp features 4 flourishing producers: Nolga, Jack Michael, Lore and Monika Ross who congregate to meld together a satisfying cross section of modern minimal: reduced and refined club music suffused with a twist of UKG.
Interflow EP is the second studio EP by English producer Joe Newham on Houseum Records, released under his stage name Gavinco. The album's musical style is described as a synthesis or musical library of electronic sounds incorporated with the acid jazz instrumentation.
This EP is a collection of five tracks starting with the hypnotic yes transient track "Much Love" with the singer Abela. The second track "Regards" brings up the motion in the EP. That takes you on a tropical yet tantalizing trip with the solo piano riffs and arithmetic glockenspiel.
Third is "Interflow" with the long lasting journey of muted trumpets and saxophone riffs that are accompanied by the live instrumentation of drum and bongo. We then move on to the fourth track "Movate" , This track pushes you back out into the dance groove with the heavy live bass recording that has been incorporated into the old school electronic 4/4 house rhythm.
Finally we finish with the bonus digital track "Imagination" with the upbeat disco drum pattern and lavish ballroom style of house music.

Nathan Micay is pleased to present the next re-issue on Eternal Schvitz: Aaron Palmquist - Cohesion EP. As a mainstay of the Canadian underground rave scene during the 90’s, Aaron (aka Chameleon) performed live at legendary Toronto parties such as Exodus, Chemistry and Pleasure Force. Using an assortment of gear including two TB303’s, a TR909 and 808 drum machine, he was able to road test a number of originals, eventually leading to an EP in 1997 on Solo Recoridings. Now, 22 years later, these amazing tunes can live again, completely re-mastred from previously lost DAT tapes along with a brand new 2019 remix of ‘Dreamtime’. As always, Schvitz gives back. To fight the evil no-ID-DJ forces currently at work, every Eternal Schvitz release will be providing 60% of the cut to the artists and ensuring their credits are front and centre. The remaining 40% of profits will go to aequa, a Berlin-based collective with a focus on empowerment of women, trans and non- binary folks through gatherings for interpersonal exchange. Schvitz is Love. Schvitz is Communal.

Nathan Micay introduces a new label into the Schvitz family: Eternal Schvitz, a home for re- issues of those most rare slabs of wax. The inaugural release offers a sampler of coveted tunes from the fabled Baby Blue Records run by Chris Simmonds between1990-1993. Almost impossible to find, these tunes have become a thing of discogs legend, offering up a snapshot into the label's short but memorable run. Lovingly re-stored straight from the DAT tapes of yore. To fight the evil no-ID-DJ forces currently at work, every release will be providing 60% of the cut to the artists and ensuring their credits are front and centre. The remaining 40% of profits will go to aequa, a Berlin-based collective with a focus on empowerment of women, trans and non- binary folks through gatherings for interpersonal exchange. Schvitz is Love. Schvitz is communal.
German duo Raumakustik are next up on Hot Creations with Animal / Waves, a stunning two track release that features a re-edit from label frontman Jamie Jones.
Animal starts proceedings, as a bouncing reverberating kick gives way to a synth-filled build up. An echoing vocal sample states “acid feel”, before hitting once again with a choppy, swinging bassline. Next up, Jamie Jones delivers a re-edit of Waves, featuring tinny hi-hats, hollow pops and a bouncing arcade build up that is guaranteed to cause a stir on any dancefloor.
Having released their Raider EP on sub-label Hot Trax and Dem A Pree on Emerald City, Raumakustik make their first appearance on Hot Creations. Respected producers in the house and techno scenes, they have also released on the likes of Suara, Toolroom and Microtonal Records. Jamie Jones is someone who needs little introduction.
Founder of Hot Creations as well as the Paradise event series, there are few feats left for the Welshman to conquer. Countless esteemed releases coupled with a passion-lead vision have seen Jones become a true master of his craft.
Italian electronic music mastermind ABYSSY and the Marseille underground hero DONARRA, share for the ALLEY VERSION's 4th release the split E.P. "CLOSE".
ABYSSY aka Mayo Soulomon has, over the years, released records of great interest for Mathematics, New Interplanetary Melodies and many other labels, marked by Detroit and Chicago influences reworked in his personal complex cut. DONARRA comes to ALLEY VERSION after two beautiful E.P. for Skylax Records and La Chinerie, and recently spotted with its synth-dark-industrial-punk moniker Cardinal & Nun, on L.I.E.S.
Still reeling from their sought-after Ross EP on the hugely respected Natural Sciences label, Warren Raww present the To Adelaide EP, the first release on the newly founded, Bristol-based imprint, Piff Records.
The Adelaide duo have produced a 12 that ups the energy of their July EP, whilst still delivering on their own brand of melodic, synth-laden house music. This time flanked by comrades Arthur Miles and Freddie Norwood, they add to the already high volume of talent currently emanating from Australia.
The A1, 9 On Court 3, plays on the more low-end driven aspect of Warren Raww’s production style, with an off-kilter bass line bouncing erratically over the top of the slightly swung, punchy percussion, topped with a spaced-out, saturated synth palet. Fans of Kyle Hall’s From Joy and the deeper end of Lobster Theremin will resonate strongly with Neighbours, a more relaxed, broken number, augmented with small piano runs and sewn together with a contemplative chord progression asking of the listener a more emotional nuance.
On Jessica’s Place, Arthur Miles strips down to lay the foundations for a tasty, warp-drenched number, complementing his gliding pads with a great selection of raw percussion and improvised synth lines, culminating in a combination of soft and rugged. Freddie Norwood rounds off the four-track EP with Parallel To The Sky, a continuation of the stripped back, broken beat approach. He slowly builds musical blocks bringing in more and more melodic hooks before affirming his dreamy canvas with a welcomed bassline that swims around the vocal sample before the final drum rolls bring the EP to a close.
South London favourites Chaos in the CBD come back to Rhythm Section International one year after their breakthrough EP ‘Midnight in Peckham’. The original EP captured a moment in time in a way few songs can manage. It was hailed as a masterpiece, capturing the attention of all who listened, as evidenced by the unquenchable demand for the 12”.
This follow up EP is an equally sublime collection of tracks that revel in the late night soulful feel that Chaos in The CBD have been honing over the past two years. The music’s strength lies in it’s subtlety - the tracks demand your attention in an effortless fashion and hold it, right ‘till the last beat. Another unbelievably powerful record from RS INTL, who are proving to be unstoppable of late. BUY ON SIGHT!
