Interflow EP is the second studio EP by English producer Joe Newham on Houseum Records, released under his stage name Gavinco. The album's musical style is described as a synthesis or musical library of electronic sounds incorporated with the acid jazz instrumentation.
This EP is a collection of five tracks starting with the hypnotic yes transient track "Much Love" with the singer Abela. The second track "Regards" brings up the motion in the EP. That takes you on a tropical yet tantalizing trip with the solo piano riffs and arithmetic glockenspiel.
Third is "Interflow" with the long lasting journey of muted trumpets and saxophone riffs that are accompanied by the live instrumentation of drum and bongo. We then move on to the fourth track "Movate" , This track pushes you back out into the dance groove with the heavy live bass recording that has been incorporated into the old school electronic 4/4 house rhythm.
Finally we finish with the bonus digital track "Imagination" with the upbeat disco drum pattern and lavish ballroom style of house music.
'Break The House' is a brand new label from the crew who brought us the highly successful 'Rave 2 The Grave' series. This time, fusing rare & classic influential house hooks with a modern & highly original breaks house vibe.
Italian electronic music mastermind ABYSSY and the Marseille underground hero DONARRA, share for the ALLEY VERSION's 4th release the split E.P. "CLOSE".
ABYSSY aka Mayo Soulomon has, over the years, released records of great interest for Mathematics, New Interplanetary Melodies and many other labels, marked by Detroit and Chicago influences reworked in his personal complex cut. DONARRA comes to ALLEY VERSION after two beautiful E.P. for Skylax Records and La Chinerie, and recently spotted with its synth-dark-industrial-punk moniker Cardinal & Nun, on L.I.E.S.
In another tight and consistent projection, Paxton Fettel actualizes his assertion for independence, eclecticism and voodoo - with a collection of delightful enchanting vibes.
Familiarly neat and energetic, house beats and crystal-clear chords accord to accompany the melodic dawdling, while insatiable and unbelievably facetious talkative babblings of all kinds stretch out into organic gliding laces.
The purposefully optimistic and spirited atmosphere is the echo of the ceaseless quest for serious lightness, relaxed ecstatic states, truth and wonders.
At the intersection of devoted beginnings and mastered preferences, this EP provides a soothing expression of the reality of change, and acts as the denouement of a true explorative pit stop for the musician - and the listener, always playful, and sprucely yours.

(Mandar / Delaphine) sculpts the dreamy chords of the original into that ethereal realm of house, as only he does it.
On the flipside the newcomers bring the action, as Soaked goes heavy with the SP1200 distorted bassline stomper 'Heavy Thoughts' followed by Belmaati with his mesmerizing deep house vibes on 'Deep CTRL'

"One in a million beatmakers, but the one in a million kind..." The Århus-born beatsmith extraordinaire Terry Tester's career behind the decks and MPC spans nearly two decades almost solely spent within the world of hiphop. Having previously released records from Maison Sky, J.Tijn and Viers - the next in an ever-reliable series welcomes back Church and 2020 Midnight Visions affiliate Lorca for his third outing on the label.
Hailing from Brighton, Lorca has garnered a following behind several extolled 12″s showcasing his intricate and spectral brand of UK Electronic music. His latest offering expands on this with three moody cuts that meld eyesdown melodies with sharp, lively drum structures.
‘Creta Kano’ kicks things off with ticking percussion scurrying over a rubbery, tape driven thud. Deft dynamics build depth in the mix as detuned and delayed synth lines interweave to stunning effect.
‘Malta Kano’ then sets more textures bubbling behind bright drums and powerful, melodic synth leads. The Alt version of ‘Creta Kano’ then brings things to a dark and purposeful close. Field recordings gently bleed in and out of focus while more glowing synthesis occupies the foreground. A warped sequence circles in towards the close bringing another insight into the chops of one of the UK’s most dynamic and exciting young producers to a close.
It was only late last year that PIFF Records dropped their first release ‘To Adelaide’, showcasing a wave of up and coming Australian producers. Now, the UK based record label welcomes Berlin-based Jesse Bru as the sophomore member, furthering the label’s ambition for musical exploration in dance music.
Piff Records continues to unravel its catalogue by calling on an artist slightly closer to home. Cardiff-based Harrison BDP adds to his already prolific discography with an EP that spans from mellow dub techno vibrations, all the way up to wide-open, rave-driven acid riffs.
Harrison’s A-side revels in a deep pool of soft bubbling synth chords, moulded to the backdrop of tight rolling drum work and occasionally teasing the wider, heavier energies to be found on the flip.
The B side ripples with ricocheting, delay-laden soundscapes, rock-solid drums lines, and nostalgic lead synth lines that make you glad that you’ve caught on to this talented producer early on in his promising career.
Still reeling from their sought-after Ross EP on the hugely respected Natural Sciences label, Warren Raww present the To Adelaide EP, the first release on the newly founded, Bristol-based imprint, Piff Records.
The Adelaide duo have produced a 12 that ups the energy of their July EP, whilst still delivering on their own brand of melodic, synth-laden house music. This time flanked by comrades Arthur Miles and Freddie Norwood, they add to the already high volume of talent currently emanating from Australia.
The A1, 9 On Court 3, plays on the more low-end driven aspect of Warren Raww’s production style, with an off-kilter bass line bouncing erratically over the top of the slightly swung, punchy percussion, topped with a spaced-out, saturated synth palet. Fans of Kyle Hall’s From Joy and the deeper end of Lobster Theremin will resonate strongly with Neighbours, a more relaxed, broken number, augmented with small piano runs and sewn together with a contemplative chord progression asking of the listener a more emotional nuance.
On Jessica’s Place, Arthur Miles strips down to lay the foundations for a tasty, warp-drenched number, complementing his gliding pads with a great selection of raw percussion and improvised synth lines, culminating in a combination of soft and rugged. Freddie Norwood rounds off the four-track EP with Parallel To The Sky, a continuation of the stripped back, broken beat approach. He slowly builds musical blocks bringing in more and more melodic hooks before affirming his dreamy canvas with a welcomed bassline that swims around the vocal sample before the final drum rolls bring the EP to a close.
Sydney label Doe Dee continues it's exploration of Australia's outer limits with Tred's 'Planet Perth' EP delving into the realm of fast paced electro over 4 cuts. Tred's 2 original tracks explore the mature sonic range of the young Perth born Berlin based producer with '(To)Night' bringing deep driving melodic euphoria and 'S2003's shimmering pads building into a moody mysterious crescendo.
Fellow Perth export Privacy provides the S2003 remix where a steppy half time intro leads the way into a surprise half mark arpeggio rinse-out and Sydney's Jensen Interceptor rounds things out with a full throttle acid mindmelting version of (To)Night

Closing the door on what's been a bright year for Beef Records, they tie everything together with a meaty compilation of their 2018 achievements, which have kept up momentum throughout the year with DJ support from the likes of Ben UFO, Eltron John & Herzel, to name a few.
This 3 x 12" compilation is a great way to get stuck into the label or, as an existing listener, to whet the appetite for the next slab of Beef coming in 2019.
Hot off the back of a well-received debut 12” - ‘Probabilidades’ EP - published on Phuture Shock Musik some 10 months ago, Damián Botigué aka Karmasound returns to deliver his follow-up release on the Bristol label, by name of ‘Can See Thru You’.
For this second outing, the Barcelona-based producer steps into a collaborative mode and calls up on the smoky vocal talents of upcoming singer-songwriter Jedreck, to present a jazzy, late-night bruk affair with a range of influences that includes Neo soul, Latin jazz, Detroit house and broken beat, all doused in soulful warmth. In addition to the lead track, the release also features two inspired remixes by Bristol’s very own soulful house don Sean McCabe, plus a bonus original track on the B-side to top off the disc.
Opening up the A-Side is the vocal-led broken house jam ‘Can See Thru You’, where featured vocalist Jedreck croons his way over a jazz-infused composition laced with melancholy synthpads, wriggly P-funk synths and skippy, Afro-Latin rhythms that progresses into a low-swung, four-to-the floor bounce sounding straight out of Detroit. Next follows Sean McCabe’s Broken Mind Mix of ‘Can See Thru You’, who reimagines the track into a lively bruk roller geared more towards the dancefloor and injects an infectious feel-good vibe through the supplement of groovy keys and a frenzy of lustrous synths around the vocals, whilst driven by a funky drum pattern and lilting, boogie-indebted bass. Side B of the single is home to the second of Sean McCabe’s remixes of the A-side cut, where he harks back to the 90’s with an epic US garage dub, that trims down Jedreck’s vox and invites new musical elements to the forefront such as uplifting strings, funky synth hooks and a display of dexterous organ solos as the track evolves; altogether anchored by solid TR909 beats and a mighty synthbass groove redolent of Kerri Chandler. Rounding off proceedings is the nocturnal broken grooves of ‘Another Way’ which combines sensuous Rhodes chords and percussive, rolling drums with warm analogue bass and tasty synth licks that evokes the future boogie jazz-funk deeds of genre masters Dego + Kaidi Tatham; coupled with a yearnful vocal refrain sung by Karmasound and sultry backing vocals from frequent collaborator Sara Bee.
