These run of releases on ‘Existence Is Resistance’ comes from the Legendary Proto Garage Record Label ‘Same People’, and see’s Persian & Long time musical partner DJ Texsta, repressing some of their most pioneering UKG E.P.s.
The Duo helped define the early sounds of UKG & the then unheard sound of Speed Garage, Dubstep & Grime. The Duo had massive success with records like ‘Dangerous’ & ‘Well Well Well’ which is included here.
Alongside this there’s a Special treat for the UKG Heads out there, with a previously Unreleased unheard Dubplate Mix of ‘Well Well Well’, which was recently unearthed amongst Texsta’s expansive record collection. This version is remixed by none other than the UK Techno Legend Nick Dunton under his secret ‘D Ross’ dj monika that he used back in the pirate days.
The much loved requested ‘Real Love’ gets another outing, originally being the B-Side to the classic ‘Feel Da Vibe’.
On top of all this Goodness, listener’s get treated to two absolutely killer bonus tracks from Dunton D–56M alias, ‘Homage’ which features label mate & Soul singer Decarlo (Survival Dub) in a tribute to the teacher’s of the Chicago sound & ‘Medication’ which is an inspired dystopian house chugger, with a stark warning for the New World.
These are for the ‘Collector’s’ out there: Super limited one time represses.
Main Phase returns to Warehouse Rave with a four tracker 12" that shows the Copenhagen native take on both 2-step, grime and breaks. The release, Cool Down EP, sees the rising garagehead Main Phase explore the murky and dark areas of 2-step with direct nods to the grime scene generals as well as early rave sounds and euphoric breaks.
First cut on the 2-step dominated A-side, "Eski", sees Main Phase go dark with tight syncopated beats, heavy basslines and a little help from the godfather himself.
Staying in grime-ish areas, "Bluku" delivers clear nods to the grime-scene with icy synths and sirens while still maintaining the freshness of 2-step. Oh my gosh!
The B-side of the record opens up with the title track "Cool Down ('93 Mix)", an homage to big raves, hefty breaks and slashing reeses.
From slashing reeses to gully subs, the final track of the record, "All of the People" sees Main Phase make breaks workout side-by-side with playful synth melodies and mc-samples from way back when. Hold tight!
Release Date: 3rd July 2020Italian DJ and producer Lynch Kingsley returns to Inperspective Records with new album Death Cycles, out 5th June.
An eleven-track release, Death Cycles is a slow-burning journey that sees Kingsley craft rich, atmospheric soundscapes informed by his D&B background. The first half of the record is characterised by downbeat, ambient breakbeat exploration, with tracks like ‘Rites of Passage’ and ‘Distance Between Soundwaves’ expertly setting the scene. In the second half, both the tempo and intensity rise gradually, most notably with the pounding, rapid-fire breaks of ‘Acid Dream’, before things are closed out with the sophisticated liquid D&B sounds of ‘Reach Through Meditation Pt. 2’.
Hailing from Rome, Kingsley has built a reputation around his complex, cerebral brand of electronic music, which is equal parts emotional, raw and intimate. Making his debut on Beat Machine in 2014, he has since released a brace of records on Inperspective, ‘Eden’ in 2016 and a Void’ in 2018. Closely associated with the ‘Dreamers’ crew in Milan, alongside the likes of Neve, he established himself as a frontrunner in the underground italian breakbeat circuit.
An expansive, complex collection of tracks, Death Cycles sees Lynch Kingsley kick off the new decade in scintillating form.

Little information about the reign of Osiris appears in Egyptian sources; the focus is on his death and the events that follow. The murder itself is frequently alluded to, but never clearly described. The Egyptians believed that written words had the power to affect reality, so they avoided writing directly about profoundly negative events. Osiris is connected with life-giving power, righteous kingship, and the rule of Maat the ideal natural order whose maintenance was a fundamental goal in ancient Egyptian culture.

Critical Music reaches its 100th release in its 15th year, celebrating with the landmark album Fifteen Years Of Underground Sonics. Spanning the broad spectrum of drum & bass that the Critical sound represents, the exceptional 15 album is as bold as it is beautiful and looks to serve the test of time in the D&B history books.
Over the past 15 years the label I started as a hobby, as a way to involve myself in drum and bass, has taken over my life. I m so lucky to have worked with such incredible artists, have them realise their creativity, and travelled all over the world spreading the sound I love.
I deliberated for a long time over what type of record we should put together to celebrate reaching both our 15th birthday and 100th release. I like to think of us as a label that looks forward, that focuses on what the future holds and on how to make statements without sacrificing our core ideals, to release exciting music centred around the 170bpm tempo. So with this in mind I wanted the LP to be about where the label is now and where it s going, a snapshot of the music that represents the Critical sound by core label acts and some choice friends.
This album is an insight into Critical Music in 2017 and a thank you to all who have been involved in any way over the past 15 years.

Salvation is a moving soundscape from 4 beautiful lads, it's like The Sound Of Music for badasses. The flip side is the result of Cookie Monster visiting your studio to un-square it, de-nerdify it and steer it away from the 'Amazing Snare Demon and his Mixdown Massive'
