Release Date: 3rd July 2020Italian DJ and producer Lynch Kingsley returns to Inperspective Records with new album Death Cycles, out 5th June.
An eleven-track release, Death Cycles is a slow-burning journey that sees Kingsley craft rich, atmospheric soundscapes informed by his D&B background. The first half of the record is characterised by downbeat, ambient breakbeat exploration, with tracks like ‘Rites of Passage’ and ‘Distance Between Soundwaves’ expertly setting the scene. In the second half, both the tempo and intensity rise gradually, most notably with the pounding, rapid-fire breaks of ‘Acid Dream’, before things are closed out with the sophisticated liquid D&B sounds of ‘Reach Through Meditation Pt. 2’.
Hailing from Rome, Kingsley has built a reputation around his complex, cerebral brand of electronic music, which is equal parts emotional, raw and intimate. Making his debut on Beat Machine in 2014, he has since released a brace of records on Inperspective, ‘Eden’ in 2016 and a Void’ in 2018. Closely associated with the ‘Dreamers’ crew in Milan, alongside the likes of Neve, he established himself as a frontrunner in the underground italian breakbeat circuit.
An expansive, complex collection of tracks, Death Cycles sees Lynch Kingsley kick off the new decade in scintillating form.

Following an earth-rattling release from Gramz, the Crucial Recordings imprint returns to administer generous doses of its characteristically standard-setting and ever-expanding sonic offerings with CRUCIAL020. Standing as the second compilation release from the label, CRUCIAL020 features the stylings of new Crucial family members TMSV and Van Dam as well as tracks from some of its longer standing lineage Causa, Opus and label-head Sleeper. The highly prolific and bass-centric label has build themselves a resounding reputation within the underground scene for pushing their unprecedented mission for delivering multifaceted and boundary shattering bass music, with CRUCIAL020 proving as the newest groundbreaking addition to their vision.
Introducing the unorthodox and infectious 020 compilation are Crucial newcomers TMSV and Van Dam with their collaboration entitled “Qanun Fodder,” oozing with musical aptitude, raw baseline energy and a rugged aesthetic. Mixing organic and electronic elements, “Qanun Fodder” boasts a sub-powered, percussive-rich personality not confined by one specific genre. Causa continues to unlatch the release with “Are We,” a highly original dancefloor detonator that boasts strong roots in dubstep’s foundational sound. While “Are We” delivers proper traditionally meditative sound system might, it doesn’t shy away from delivering a fresh and dark perspective that strives for innovation. Standing as a climax to CRUCIAL020 is labelhead Sleeper’s “Ginger Root.” Wielding an infectious melody and impossibly heavy sub bass presence, “Ginger Root” showcases Sleeper’s years of technical and creative prowess coupled with his irreplicable knack for exploration and freshness. Culminating CRUCIAL020 is Opus’s “People,” laden with his signature percussion and dynamic melodic heat, echoing the producer’s history as a classically trained musician. Confined within its four rousing tracks, CRUCIAL020 is bursting at the seams with weighty and innovative beats that abandon all stylistic expectations with its addictive, future-facing grooves.

The debut album "Computerlove" from Belgian/Russian artist Veronica Maximova, sets the scene for a broader vision for the label, while also establishing Veronica as a fresh and important artistic voice on the VOITAX roster. The title of the album describes a generation that is connected more than ever, and yet still alone in a society where happiness is mandatory. The attachment to a screen is instilled in almost every waking activity of a generation that knows how good it feels to share their life with somebody, but also knows how vulnerable and insecure one can become by sharing.

Par Avion deliver the long awaited debut 12” from Bristol’s Henry Greenleaf.
The cover bears ‘Fold Together’; a skittish, icy electro number, perfectly aligned with the young Bristolian’s notoriety for tough tunes. Accompanying the title track, ‘Rolling Untitled’ is a punchy techno workout, responsible for rattling basements around the UK.
Overleaf to these, however, Henry communicates an entirely different message. Though ’The Way’ chugs along as a syncopated roller, stylishly throwing nods to jungle and dub cultures on the way, ‘Half Under’ exists as an exhibition of programming. Dynamic fills stutter and slap in almost improvised fashion, ending our second communication with a stark westward shift towards 2-step and garage.

Well you know what they say, home is where the heart is. I must say it feels all nice and warm to be back on the label myself as Desert Sound Colony.
I’ve put together a few more rippers for you to enjoy. I hope they serve you well in the club and spin a few people from one side of the dance floor to the other. Imagine everyone’s brains are attached to yoyos and you have control of them. You could metaphorically be walking the dog with their minds if you play these at the right time. Doesn’t that sound appealing...?
It is too awkward for me to ‘big up’ my own productions in the way that a normal press release seems to want, so I will just say that I have been playing these three out for the last six months and the results have been pretty much as described in the paragraph above. They are aimed straight at the dance floor, peak time tackle for when you also want to get everyone feeling pretty weird. Expect swingitty swung rhythms throughout and the feeling of having a rave in a drainpipe.
OK enough of my blather. Go and listen to the damn things yourself and decide if you like them, rather than trying to work it out from reading a bloody press release you weirdos.
All three tracks are produced and sculpted for the club. They want big sound systems and dark rooms.
Close your eyes, hold hands and experience transcendental space flight...

Nervous Horizon is very proud to present TSVI’s debut album: ‘Inner Worlds’.
The album is about reconnecting to one’s true self and the discovery of the inner worlds: it is born from an ongoing artistic journey, which began in TSVI’s childhood. The artist grew up with parents who practise Hinduism, which is quite unusual for an Italian family. In most recent times he was hugely inspired by his partner’s religious and musical background, after she exposed him to Middle Eastern music and Sufi ideologies. TSVI started creating tracks that were influenced by bellydance percussionists such as Emad Sayyah and Hossam Ramzy, combined with Dancehall, Tarraxo and Trance.
The album is largely influenced by the role of music in transcendental Sufi practices and resembles an inner journey through different states of meditation and self-discovery.
Vedic and Tantric knowledge are also important here. Each track is a state of mind from the opening one, ‘Root’, to the last one, ’Crown’, as they represent the first and last Chakras and all the other states found in-between.
Get ready to embark on a journey through mind, body and soul.

Etch's 'Ups & Downs' album is a collection of dubs which date as far back as 2014 and up to the present day. The album's tracks are united by being examples of the artists' efforts to escape the shackles of reality by using music as a vehicle.
The theme of space recurs across the material - both the 'outer-space' of the universe and galaxies that surround our planet and the 'inner-space' of exploring the infinite recesses and depths of our mind's imagination.
However these creations were made during a period experiencing a (not-uncommon) lifestyle of mad peaks, joy and optimism, and yet also, times of struggle, adversity and depression. That is of course a familiar human tale - but expressed here through Etch's own singular musical vision. Etch's music is informed by psychedelic experiences, sci-fi, occult and horror themed films and the evolution of gaming - (these being tools often used to escape the prescribed tedium of society's rules and roles).
This is then combined with a deep love of sampling vinyl and rearranging breakbeats in an unforced homage to his family roots in UK hardcore breakbeat, jungle and d'n'b. Furthermore, these hybrids are often filtered through a keen understanding of current musical developments which are then explored and deployed where it feels appropriate. Add to this a smattering of teenage Goth influences that rear their heads within the dark sound of certain tunes and you've got a serious distillation of culture being explored within these beats.
