Daze follows up his seminal 'Lips' white label with a huge three-track EP for the core Lobster Theremin label. Traversing a bastardised series of themes that sees Jersey house blended with overdriven rave, tinker-toy acid lines slicing through shrouded doom techno and chattering hip-hop loops rolling over classic breakbeat house.
Steve Murphy turns in a rough and raw four-tracker featuring the blazing piano cut 'Eyes Behind The Door' knocking knees with deep house/techno banger 'Relax' on the A-side. The B-side sees Steve operate on two different levels - 'Tram' takes a very Shari Vari-esque drum beat and loads it with a buzzing electro synth-line and shattered hat explosions, while 'Try It' plunges the depths of the soul on a seriously trippy deep house excursion.
The first Lobster Theremin EP of 2015 comes from London-based newcomer and hazologist, Ozel AB. Striking a distinct tone with his lucid day-dreamer pads, blown-out MPC drums and Werkdiscs-inspired weirdness, this debut release is the missing piece in the final core artist tapestry of the London-based label.
Part 3 of this special project meant to introduce the new bunch of artists on the label - Brique Rouge is back with a new creative crew, from Paris, to Spain, to Belgium, to Portugal, to the UK…

Based in Glasgow, Escape is a fledgling talent whose cultivation amongst the ranks sees him now ready to drop the first of several EPs on AUS. His debut EP ‘Just Escape’ is a poignant brew of delicately treated vocals, swooning strings and gut-wrenching melodicism. Backed up by remixes from the mighty Justin Martin and Jacques Greene this is a package that astutely straddles the bridge between pop and underground dance music - a skill which AUS have honed throughout their lauded and extensive anthology.
Work Them Records begins 2015 with a remix package of Radio Slave's 2014 release, 'Werk', that takes in versions from DJ Richard, Dan Beaumont and s:vt.
White Materials man DJ Richard takes the cut into trippy, technoid house territory while Dance Tunnel impresario and London institution Dan Beaumont cracks out his 909 and serves up a strident pumper. Work Them artist S:VT closes the package with a powerful rework that channels the original's tone perfectly.
For their fourth release, Rebel Intelligence bring you their Tetramer EP, a carefully crafted selection of tracks from JTC, Automatic Tasty, Elec Pt. 1 and Abraham Cowley. Don’t miss out on this eclectic mix of driving acid, deep house and addictive melodies. A great addition to any record box.
Years ago and aided by his older brother, The Maghreban used to listen to a London pirate called "Green Apple". He very much enjoyed these sounds. Whilst not identical to what was played on the station, this tune is influenced by those and earlier times.
"Every time you blow me away" - Laurent Garnier (Hacienda)
"VIBES!" - Afrikan Sciences (PAN)
"Love this" - Boddika (Non Plus)
"Big Tune" - Gilb'R (Versatile) a. The Maghreban - Green Apple
