- Previously Unreleased Versions
- Alternate Version without synths
Athens of the north presents two of the disco floaters from our previously unreleased AOTNLP Original Friends and Buddies, both of these versions are on 45 for the first time. The Stripped down Version of 'Silence that you keep' benefits from the more direct tight Vocal. Without the synths there is much more space in the mix which suits the melancholy deep disco groove so much better. On the Flip 'Po Man' has also been stripped right back to its more basic elements also for the better, less is so much more.

After nine releases on their KVK series of the Karlovak label, KVK1000 will be the tenth and final release on the KVK imprint (god save her soul).
In it's place arises the new KRLVK series. While the concept series KVK exclusively featured releases from the label-lords themselves, the new KRLVK series will sport work from other artists with releases from Radio Slave, Ben Sims, and the Chicago house legend DJ Jes already lined up.
First up on KRLVK is Ben Sims who delivers a burning EP of disco infused house and techno bombs.

For their next release, Gutter Funk have dared once again to disrupt the fabric of space and time...
We are proud present to you Gus Pirelli, a name you may recognise from Laminate Radio, and the critically acclaimed mix tape:
'Born in the Year of the Boogie'.
Pirelli steps into the spotlight with his first major release. This is 100% authentic boogie-disco-funk.
Utilising all original equipment, there is not a sample in sight. These two beautifully crafted cuts have been created from scratch, both complimented by the graceful vocal power of Andre Espeut.
All instruments are played, recorded and mixed by Gus. This is pure class.

Panthera Krause joins the Lobster Theremin stable with a mid-summer trip into the heart of the sun. Drawing on a plethora of classic house influences, Krause weaves these into a style which is a at once recognisable yet uniquely his own, production-wise drawing as much from the MPC-led West Coast beat scene as the European house approach.

All nervous energy, ill-defined brilliance, detached emotion, and subdued minimalism, Man is Deaf is the new album from London based electronic musician Brassica. Sophisticated and distinctive it distills Michael Anthony Wright’s storied musical past; capturing new wave, psych, synth music, avant garde electronics, house, and italo disco; without sounding consigned to any part of it.
