You say you want techno? Alas, our man TÉNÈBRE has pulled the plug on his plans to reinvent the techno landscape and instead is aiming for the pop charts with this selection of mainstream crowd pleasers...
At WNCL HQ, we’ve been hanging tough with new kid on the block, STAVROGIN (Stray Landings, 3BS, Last Drop) who has blown our mind this time
He provides 3 fresh original tracks in follow up to his recent debut appearance on We Are Family Vol 4. Remix duty is taken care of by fellow Cassette Librarian and breakbeat scientist, LMAJOR who comes through with the right stuff...
For the latest family outing on WNCL Recordings, LMAJOR brings you the future and BOXWORK brings in the jazz. On the flip, TENEBRE goes deep and we introduce brand new signing, STAVROGIN (look out for his 4 track EP coming soon...)
LMAJOR marks his return to WNCL Recordings with another set of blistering originals, accompanied by in-house remixes from Boxwork and West Norwood Cassette Library

Brand new WNCL signing LMajor is in town to bring the danger to all raving cru. Alongside other recent Cassette Library signings, Ténèbre and Caldera, this is the sound of the new breed - you dig?
"Territory III" should have been the next release on TÉNÈBRE's self-titled artist label. However, as soon as the promo landed, the Cassette Library went on a shameless 'beg, borrow or steal' mission and we are now proud to present WNCL032 – a mind-blowing 4 track EP that successfully blends bass, breaks and techno, peppered with tastefully positioned ambient twists in just the right measure.
Caldera made his Cassette Library debut on this summer’s Various Artist release – We Are Family Vol.3 – with the excellent and well received “Techon 2L”. He’s back with a full EP’s worth of trax that are better than your average. In fact, they’re 134% OK. OK?
After his recently, well acclaimed Balearic adventures as “Jane In Palma”, DON FROTH makes a welcome return to the WNCL fold. He comes out fighting with the bass and bleep heavy “HR22”, nicely juxtaposed with the equally quirky but altogether more soulful sounds on “Joint Loose”.
Flip to the B side for more jump up adventures with "DOCs" and, by popular demand, his previously bite-sized cut “A Broad Range” gets extended into a full on acid squelch “Widescreen Mix” to close the show.
James Duncan - producer of a flawless string of sublime House EP’s for labels such as Real Soon and his own Le Systeme imprint; horns man for Metro Area, Morgan Geist and Lem Springsteen (Mood II Swing) and currently on trumpet duties for Sal Principato (Liquid Liquid) - invites us to join him on a whistle stop tour through some of the subway stations in his neighbourhood for the first in a series of “Brooklyn Beats”.
J Tijn makes a welcome return to the Cassette Library for his second EP on WNCL Recordings. Once again, the boy wonder explores musical worlds outside of his perceived comfort zone ("HEHF"), gets his bleep on ("Fat Controller") whilst ensuring the die-hard raving crew are kept happy ("Malaria"). To round things off, we're also treated to the next installment in the beat-heavy Decimated series ("Decimated #8”).
WNCL Recordings continues the 5th Anniversary celebrations with this appropriately titled 4 track EP of underground goodies from label boss, Bob Bhamra - a selection of unreleased and previously dubplate- only affairs from the Cassette Library vaults...
