After his sold out "Fight dem Back/Nu Gun" 12" in 2017, Sun People is finally back with a banger of an EP for Through These Eyes.
In the last years he crafted his very unique and distinctive style at 160 bpm, which he now fully expresses on the "Stumble & Grow EP". Successfully he combines the powerful rhythms of Footwork with the deepness of (old school) Jungle and spices everything with a hint of Detroit.
There's a thin line between doing the same thing over and over again and having a true signature sound, Sun People is demonstrating the latter perfect with these four tracks.
We start the journey with high energy and fast kicks on "It's Yours" before Sun People takes us to the hidden depths of "Stumble & Grow". The title track truly lives up to its name, the rhythm sucks you right in and lets you dive deeper and deeper as the track progresses.
The B-side opens with "Work", a naughty, bass-driven dancefloor anthem which is powerful and vigorously but funky and soothing at the same time. The EP closes out with "All Good", where Sun People deconstructs the best parts of old school Jungle and puts them back into a modern dancefloor monster with a very intense atmosphere.

Calling all junglists on this one!
Through These Eyes is very proud to announce a 12" from Moscow's very own Dub/Jungle production trio Champion Sound. Neekeetone, Distant Roots and General Koondoongoo made some respectable tunes on their own, but once they combined their powers as Champion Sound, the levels were raised higher. And although dubby jungle rhythms might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Moscow, this is the style these three producers from the Russian Federation have mastered in the last few years. Playing together in a reggae band and having a strong love for all things dub definitely helped a lot, too...
No wonder their tunes already got support from Moresounds, J:Kenzo, Sun People, Mister Shifter or Mystic Pulse and got played heavily on Rinse FM.
Apparently as the title suggests, "Vershun Excurshun" leans heavily in the roots of jungle and dub. The rumbling subbass and heavy hitting breaks fit perfectly to the sampled MC shouts that will guarantee to stimulate every soundsystem in a proper style!
"Through The Roots" is the perfect B-side, who takes things to a little darker, more subtle world. But once you let yourself drown in the trancey lead melody and the depth of the rhythms, you will be immersed in a cosmos of bass. Этими глазами!

Yoofee's versatile sound features razor sharp percussions, rumbling subbass and a ton of organic grooves. It's hard to narrow it down to one specific genre, which is one of the reasons i love his music so much. On top of the three original productions the 'Visualize EP' also features a remix by Itoa who went for a slow burning building repetitive approach which takes 'Clart' into a whole new direction.

The Bremen based producer ILL_K was on the wishlist for a release on ThroughThese Eyes from day one. Why? Well, i just love his precise and detailledsounddesign which always works on the dancefloor and just stands out. Bog-standard or random presets are not his thing, he is the man who takes risks andunusual ways until his expriments lead him to the expectional and unique soundsthat define his tracks.
"Herb Dub", the leading track from his TTE release, starts with a catchy but notoverused vocal sample, until ILL_K unleashes some heavy jungle breaks upon us.Then he unpretentiously switches into some halfstep rhythm just to spice things upa bit more.
"Glitch War" on the B-side already turned some heads and broke some legs on thedancefloor. Once you get into the groove of ILL_K's elaborated drumwork, there isno way out. He inhaled the aesthetics of 90ies techstep and jungle sounds and justspits them out in his very own and individual way.

After releasing tremendous EPs for labels like Terra Null or Modern Ruin we are happy to announce a four tracker by london based producer Noh Vae on Through These Eyes. Being a broadcast assistant at the infamous Rinse FM station really shaped his own sound which lies somewhere between Hip Hop, Dub and Jungle. It's hard to find someone operating in this niche so talented and unique, so we had to sign Noh Vae for a full EP! The A side already hits you with big and bad rave horns and a hard hitting halfstep beat which Noh Vae combined all in the right „flow“. Spiced up breaks and flickering drum patterns complement the tune in perfect dancefloor style.
"Shaka“ earned the name not in vain! A dubby atmosphere is accompanied by angry bass stabs and a soundsystem shaking bass. Again it shows Noh Vae's perfect ability to match all his influences in one nasty track. The B side opens with a remix of Shaka by belgian dub wizard Digid. We are so glad that he is making a return to Through These Eyes because it were his tunes that started the label at all! He turned the original in a grimey 160 bpm monster with a lot of focus on the bass and melody. „Double Standards“ finishes the release off with a mysterious vocal sample chopped over some moody 808 kicks and the right spirit of experimentalism.

After the first release in June 2016 and #002 following in early 2017, the Berlin- based imprint Through These Eyes is ready to announce the next release. This time it features two heavy jungle tracks by Austrian based artist Sun People. On the name giving A-side of his Through These Eyes release Sun People uses an iconic vocal sample, adds a gut-wrenching '95 style bass-line and tops it all off with some of the finest razor sharp percussions in the genre to deliver one of the most stomping tunes you'll hear this summer. Nu Gun on the flipside gets a lot more dubby with it's perfect jungle beat edits and moody chord stabs - all that laid out over a well known vocal sample. It can easily be considered a prime example of Sun People's signature sound which is heavily rooted in Dub, Jungle and Juke/Footwork.

Folding Citys debut on Through These Eyes is charged with exerting drum rhythms and high-energy movement throughout. The A-Side enthralls with psychedelic string plucks and silky smooth,
even trance-inducing arrangement. Livid percussive movements, powdered with delays and tribal grooves, are creatively used - as well as haunting, emotive pads.
‘Museling’ is a different beast to witness, starting off with hypnotic arpeggios and taunting, grimy vocals, anticipating the impact. Swift hi-hats race along an intensely stomping bass-line,
pervaded with gritty but fluid motion - resulting in extraordinarily energetic music. The two-sided single elegantly shares the same signature sound, each track complementing the other.
