Anonymous producer Alphonse returns to Klasse Wrecks for his third release on the label and brings with him a concoction of familiar sounds and flavours. If anything is certain about Alphonse by now it is that nothing is certain and everything is to be expected. The 'Beechwood DNA' EP sounds like a grip of the producer's influences and inspirations funneled through his sample heavy approach to production, taking wild turns unannounced. Acid licks and unruly breakbeats are definitely nothing new but the producers considered summation of each track is truly original and surprising. The EP rounds off with the title track 'Beechwood', a painfully beautiful ode that captures a nostalgic mood and shows off the producers well-informed ear for a catchy sample.

Lemmon Grass - "ELEGAL2" EP Unsung and hard to find material from recondite UK producer Lemmon Grass aka Scott Featherstone. Whilst the B-side collects and re-releases 2 tracks from the 1993 'One O Them' record (originally released on the British House label Triumph Records) the A-side digs through Scott's unreleased demos from the same time period and proudly reintroduces them into the flow of 2020. All the tracks are top notch and range from deftly programmed 808 beat tools to seriously uplifting 4/4 and showcase the talents of a producer that obviously has pure house music energy running through his veins.

Luca Lozano and DJ Fett Burger return with part two of the three part 'Hands of Doom' series.
Following on from the success of the recent Sex Tags UFO release, Hands of Doom 2 continues the tradition of early breakbeat and proto-rave inspired club tracks.
Three slices of rattling drums, low-end subs and bleeped out bleeps make for a cohesive and well informed EP and a welcome addition to the series.
Keep those peepers peeled for the third and final part, a full album from the duo on Luca Lozano's GRAFITI TAPES series.
