Interflow EP is the second studio EP by English producer Joe Newham on Houseum Records, released under his stage name Gavinco. The album's musical style is described as a synthesis or musical library of electronic sounds incorporated with the acid jazz instrumentation.
This EP is a collection of five tracks starting with the hypnotic yes transient track "Much Love" with the singer Abela. The second track "Regards" brings up the motion in the EP. That takes you on a tropical yet tantalizing trip with the solo piano riffs and arithmetic glockenspiel.
Third is "Interflow" with the long lasting journey of muted trumpets and saxophone riffs that are accompanied by the live instrumentation of drum and bongo. We then move on to the fourth track "Movate" , This track pushes you back out into the dance groove with the heavy live bass recording that has been incorporated into the old school electronic 4/4 house rhythm.

Berlin producer and DJ Marc Brauner, half of the Traffic Report duo, signs his first vinyl on Houseum Records with a new and more intimate EP, titled 'Sad But Ambitious'. The German delivers his introspective release with 5 tracks whose musical universe fluctuates between classic House, Breakbeat and Deep House. With this catchy title 'Sad But Ambitious', the EP succeeds in transmitting the musical sensibility of the producer.
We start with ‘He Said It’, a sample based Classic House track featuring warm pads, a pumping sub bassline, straight forward drums and a melody driven arrangement. It is meant as a tribute track to Clyde Stubblefield the former drummer of James Brown.
'Reach for You' is an emotional moody House track. It comes with a rolling drum pattern with moody pad sounds and a straight forward acid line finished off with some vocal chops on top. The track has a darker, more melancholic vibe than A1 but is still a dance floor ready tool. The kick drum is used in a different way to create a Breakbeat'ish African touch.
The title track of the EP has its name to mark a time in Marc Brauner's life where he felt sad about his life and work situation but still was ambitious enough to keep working on the tracks that are finally getting their release now. It comes with a nostalgic charm invoked by rising pads and classic drums combined with a deep bassline and a tear drop bell melody. It's a melancholic track, which you can both dance and cry too.
The last track of the vinyl ‘In a Dream’ is a House & Breaks piece. It consists of heavenly pads, a driving bassline, tight drums and a dreamy melody. This Breakbeat mood brings power and energy to the melancholic piece while remaining hope hopeful & uplifting at the same time.
This EP promises a beautiful trip between melancholy sadness and optimism.

"For the eight release of notorious Paris based label Houseum, Ricky Razu buddies up with Marc Brauner to deliver a bustling and bumping EP titled 'Two Of A Kind'.
Ricky opens the record with the enigmatic 'Alive', an undeniably groovy track featuring an astral and dreamy feel. He fuses this cosmic ambiance with thoughtful synth work and bumpy house drums, ensuring a track suitable for the peak-hour as well as the late night ride home. Featured on A2 is the lively 'Drift', where dubby chord progressions and sharp synths ride a chunky bassline, delivering a more intense but no less huggable and danceable fist-pumping moment. To finish things off, Ricky comes out with the jazz-flecked and luscious dream house track 'Freefloat', an energetic yet thought provoking affair perfect to wrap up the A-side.
Marc continues with the Bside of the record, as the name gives away already the B1 is an homage to the old school and the way Marc pictures house music from the past while still giving it his own twist and sauce of today. A catchy vocal sample, a bumping bassline, piano stabs and long string notes complete the classic sound arrangement. The floating pad and melancholic melodies of Dinner 4 2 are coming as no surprise for everyone familiar with Marc's recent work. Forward aimed drum patterns are combined with a 303 acid melody that leads thru the track, making it a smooth but still club orientated piece of music. The B3 is the follow up track to 'In A Dream' which was part of Marc's last EP on Houseum 'Sad But Ambitious'. Accompanied by a deep bubbling bass, the drum parts are highly influenced by electro / breakdance music from back then with bleeps, zaps and hits that bring back memories from the 80s/90s."
